We left Omaha to head to Mt Rushmore, however, we are still 3 hours away. We did have a good drive, with lots of stops at brown signs,and a stop at Subway for Ally, thank you blue eyes:) The maps make places seem way too close when they are really not:)
Omaha was not at all like I pictured. It was clean, they had a pretty big shopping area, zoo, museums, and it wasn't crowded. I think we could come back for a midwest vacation for sure, well maybe just Rich and me.
We spent the majority of our day on I90, where we went to a sculpture park, a theater made out of corn, and Al's Oasis. I will post pictures as soon as I learn how.
Ally is fading fast...she is ready to go home not soon but NOW!!! At least we've had no fever or throwing up yet like in her younger days:)
